Junk King takes a variety of different residential junk and commercial junk, including old furniture and appliances. Junk King’s mission is to recycle and reuse as much junk as possible. This goal is more achievable at Junk King South Denver due to the additional location, South Denver and North Denver, and the relationships with local charities, non-profits and recyclers.

“We will take pretty much anything, except hazardous waste, as long as we are able to recycle, donate, or responsibly dispose of it without a special license,” says David Donovan. Junk King’s mission is to recycle, repurpose or reuse at least two thirds of each junk haul.

Metals are found in household appliances and electronic waste. These metals can be harmful to the environment if they are disposed of in landfills. The upside is that these same metals can be reused in other products if they are responsibly disposed of. Metals like stainless steel and copper can be recycled, whereas more harmful metals are best kept out of landfills.
